Wayne Thomas King

Wayne King, age 86 passed away peacefully on Monday January 19th at Campbellford Memorial Hospital.

Wayne is survived by his wife Heather, granddaughters Searra and Madison Denault – King his nephews David, and Shawn, and niece Debbie Wray. He is predeceased by his first wife Judy and their son Brian.

He was born in Kirkland Lake to Alec and Christine King. They moved to Whitby, where he met and married his high school sweetheart Judy Henderson. After years of trying, they welcomed their son Brian.

Wayne retired from GM and enjoyed gardening, cars, walks, and reading. He loved spending time with his granddaughters and always had a smile and a hug for them. He was a wonderful, loving grandfather and will be greatly missed.

Wayne later opened his heart to Heather and gave love a second chance. Together they lived a happy life.

Wayne was a kind man; he often had a smile on his face. He was willing to lend a hand and took time to listen. He was generous and loved with his whole heart.
